When we launched Clever Logger back in 2019, our original plan was to store our customers’ temperature recordings in ‘fast’ storage for a few years, and then archive things into ‘slower’ storage. Of course, we would never actually delete any data.
Currently, everything is still in ‘fast’ storage, and to be honest, we have no plans to implement the slower archive.
If we ever do implement a second tier of archived data, we guarantee that you will always have fast access to at least two years’ worth of data.
But, again, this is all hypothetical as we have no plans for the archive at this stage.
You know that your data is extremely well protected on the Clever Logger servers, but if you want to keep your own copy of your data, we make it very easy.
The simplest method is to create a monthly All Data report as an Excel spreadsheet, and have it emailed to a backed-up email address.
Clever Logger is sold to government departments, public and private hospitals, and other large corporations. We understand that it’s often not possible to purchase with a credit card on a web site.

Clever Logger loggers are intended for commercial use only. They contain small batteries. Swallowing can lead to chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion. Seek medical attention immediately.
