CLEVER LOGGER NEWS

Clever Logger and Quality Care Assessment Compliance

Clever Logger not only complies with the Quality Care Assessment requirements, but blows it out of the water. Our goal is to have a temperature logging system that does everything, and we are getting closer to success!

All you need to know is …

Clever Logger totally blows the Quality Care Assessment requirements out of the water!

Here is why…

Real-time capturing and alert system of temperature deviations outside the recommended range

Fundamentally, this is what Clever Logger is. Putting this into plain English this simply means:

Real time” – have knowledge of what the temperature is right now, as it is happening. Clever Logger is continually sending the current temperature to the server so that we know what the temperature is, so that you can know what the temperature is.

alert system” – as soon as we know your fridge is too hot or too cold, we will email you and notify your phone that there is a problem. In fact, we will continue to alert you over and over again until your fix the problem. And if you don’t, Clever Logger has the ability to start to alert other people.

"Inability to tamper with automatic recording results"

Users are only able to retrieve results, not modify them. Unlike staff, we won’t fake results to cover up mistakes.

And when there are problems, Clever Logger creates additional “alarm” records to highlight problems. You can then store comments about what caused the problem or what you did to rectify the problem.

"System to notify staff members of a power outage that affects fridges"

Every 4 minutes our gateways will attempt to contact our server to let them know they are still active. If we don’t hear from them, then we know something is wrong. You can set how long you want a gateway to be offline until we notify you.

There are a number of reasons why a gateway is offline including power failure and internet failure. We don’t know exactly what it is, but both of them are bad for your business.

A twice daily recording log of minimum and maximum temperatures

This is where Strive For Five is lost in the dark ages. We are checking every 5 minutes. We have min/max reports and we can send it to you as many times a day as you like.

Or we can just send you alerts and let you get on with your job.

Or send you a report once a month.

It’s all up to you.

...but wait, there's more...

The problem with the old way of doing things was that you had to continually multitask. You had to continually check to see if your fridge was OK, and that takes time and effort.

Modern vaccine fridges will alarm you when there is a problem with an audible alarm.

Clever Logger will notify you with emails and phone alerts when there is a problem.

Clever Logger will send you reports automatically. You don’t even need to use the system for reporting.

It’s all about making sure that you know there is a problem the moment it happens and can have peace of mind at all other times.

Strive for Five was a compromise between knowing a fridge failed as soon as possible, and staff having other things to do. With Clever Logger there should no longer be a compromise. We have you covered. And we are now trying to convince the world that your staff can get back on with the job.
